l 講座亮點：This workshop focuses on practical strategies for increasing student engagement while helping EMI instructors quickly determine what students understand. Building on the idea that engagement is a design outcome, participants will explore active-learning strategies that pair well with formative assessment techniques and other practical comprehension checks. Participants will experience these strategies as learners and consider how to adapt them to their own EMI courses. By the end of the workshop, participants will identify practical ways to gather immediate feedback, respond to students’ learning needs in order to make engagement a purposeful part of their course design.
