Course Details

  • Sep.14_Fundamentals of Event Planning

This workshop introduces the fundamentals of planning and organizing successful events. Participants will explore what event planning involves, examine different types of events, and brainstorm ideas for their own potential events. They will then develop their event concepts by considering the who, what, when, where, and why of event planning, before beginning to assign responsibilities and establish the key details needed to turn an idea into a workable event.

  • Sep. 15_Every Event is Exciting!

This workshop focuses on turning an event concept into a practical plan. Participants will explore the materials, communication, and preparation needed to make an event successful. Working with their chosen event plans, they will begin creating necessary materials and preparing everything needed to move their event from an idea to execution.

  • Sep 18_Sharing and reviewing our events

In this final workshop, students will present their event proposals and receive feedback on their ideas and planning. Through brief presentations and group discussion, students will reflect on their event concepts, explain their planning decisions, and identify areas for improvement. The workshop provides an opportunity to refine their proposals and put the event-planning skills developed throughout the series into practice.
