EMI / ESP 教師一對一諮詢暨觀課服務

為提升教師EMI知能與教學技巧，使課堂教學更加順利，臺科大EMI教學資源中心與Fulbright NTUST EMI Office 合作，每月提供外校教師EMI教學諮詢及觀課服務，針對教師個人EMI授課上的需求及挑戰給予協助。

• 使用方式：

1. 準備相關資源給顧問參考，如： 進班觀課；提供教學大綱或課程教案；提供教學影片等。
2. 填寫表單：請點選連結報名

• 建議諮詢討論方向：

1. 如何開始嘗試，有哪些訣竅。
2. 如何改變與學生的互動方式（鼓勵學生學習動機，參與度及開口的機會）。
3. 課程設計如何差異化教學，或簡化英語表達，讓學生較容易理解。
4. 課堂中使用中文的時機和比例。
   

• 諮詢預約說明：

1. 開放預約諮詢時段請參考預約表單內圖表。
2. 方式為一對一諮詢， 每人每日限預約一次，一次諮詢 時間為50分鐘。
3. 如有兩位以上教師選擇同一諮詢時間，將以提交報名表順序進行安排。
4. 報名成功者將收到email通知。
5. 請於諮詢完成後一周內，完成諮詢後回饋表單問卷(只需要花3-5分鐘時間填答)。
6. 若師長們有急事需取消諮詢，請盡量於諮詢日前 3 天以電子郵件通知 EMI 專員。
       (諮詢場次有限，建議您先進行一次諮詢後，再行預約下一次諮詢。)
       (諮詢剛開始會有工作人員簡短拍攝，供內部紀錄使用。)

EMI / ESP Teaching Faculties' One-on-one Consultation and Class Observation

To enhance teachers’ EMI professional knowledge and practical implementation, the NTUST Fulbright EMI Office will offer monthly appointment-based consultations to professors and faculty seeking advice on EMI.  These services aim to provide customized assistance tailored to address the individual EMI teaching needs and challenges faced by teachers. In order to provide effective consultation services and offer appropriate instructional feedback,

• How to use

1. Please make sure to indicate your willingness to provide one of the following teaching resources for the consultant's reference when making an appointment: Class observation/ Provie a teaching syllabus or course lesson plan/ instructional videos.

• Suggested discussion topic:

1. How to get started and what tips are available for beginners.
2. Strategies to enhance student motivation, engagement, and opportunities for speaking English in the classroom.
3. Approaches to differentiate or simplify language to ensure students’ comprehension.
4. When and what extent to incorporate Chinese (considering the appropriate timing and usage proportions) in the teaching process.
   

• Appointment Instructions:

1. The consultation is conducted one-on-one, and each person is limited to one appointment per day, with each consultation lasting for 50 minutes.
2. If two or more teachers choose the same consultation time, appointments will be arranged based on the order of form submissions.
3. Successful registrants will receive an email notification.
4. Please complete the feedback form questionnaire within one week after the consultation. (It will only take 3-5 minutes to fill out)~Thank you.
5. If teachers need to cancel a consultation due to an urgent matter, please try to notify the EMI coordinator via email at least 3 days before the consultation date.
   (Consultation sessions are limited, and we recommend that you schedule the next consultation after completing the initial session.)
   (There will be photo taking at the beginning of the consultation for internal documentation purposes.)
