為協助各校銜接EMI課程，學校應對學生提供充分培訓與支持，並建議於大一起

開設ESP(English for Special Purposes，專業領域英文)課程，以結合校內英語教學單位與各學院需求，奠定學生良好的專業領域語言基礎，接軌EMI課程。

國立臺灣科技大學EMI教學資源中心特與國立臺北科技大學 合作辦理「ESP專業

英文師資增能認證」課程，導入國際學 術資源導入與共同及專業英文課程建構經驗實踐分享，銜接具各校特色之全英語授課(EMI)教學方針，從ESP與EMI面 向雙軌並進，全面推動雙語教學。

• 參與對象：各大專校院專任(案)英語教師或EMI教師。
• 課程時間：114年5月10日~114年6月21日，共計24小時。

Schools should provide students with comprehensive training and support to support universities in transitioning to EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) courses. It is recommended that ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses be introduced starting from the first year. These courses should integrate the needs of English teaching units and various colleges within the university to establish a solid foundation in domain-specific language skills, thereby preparing students for EMI courses.

The EMI Teaching Resource Center at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology has collaborated with the National Taipei University of Technology to organize the "ESP Professional English Teacher Empowerment and Certification" program. This initiative incorporates international academic resources and shares practical experiences designing general and professional English courses. The aim is to align with each university’s unique EMI teaching policies and promote bilingual education through a dual approach that combines both ESP and EMI development.

• Eligible Participants: Full-time or contracted English or EMI instructors from universities and colleges.
• Course Duration: May 10, 2025 – June 21, 2025 (24 hours in total).
• Course Format: Online sessions via Google Meet and an in-person final presentation at National Taipei University of Technology.
